Rev. Steve Misch

As a pastor, Steven Misch has served in The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod since 1982. Born in 1955, he was raised in Cloquet, Minnesota, as one of two children of Pastor Ben Misch. He received a B.A. in art and music from Concordia College in St. Paul, Minnesota, after which he enrolled at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.

Pastor Misch's first call was on the Navajo Indian reservation at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church located in Navajo, New Mexico. From there he has served congregations in Del Rio, Lake Jackson, Houston, and Borger-all in Texas. Residing in Borger, Misch currently serves congregations in Area A (West Texas) of the Texas District of the LCMS. His district-wide responsibilities include stewardship, evangelism, and rural and small-town ministries. In addition to pastoral ministry, Misch has served on various boards and committees at both the district and synod levels.

Misch and his wife, Lynn, have two sons who are currently enrolled at the seminary in St. Louis.
